Bon Iver ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’
I remember watching Justin Vernon play Jimmy Fallon a couple of weeks ago, waiting expectantly for one of the many killer tracks from Bon Iver’s latest album. Maybe a little ‘Towers’? Or even the slowly building ‘Holocene’? Or possible the safer options, ‘Perth’ or ‘Calgary’? But instead he played a song I had never heard before. It wasn’t what I had been expecting (or hoping for), but it was nevertheless utterly beautiful.

Acoustic The Jezabels Is Pretty Much Amazing
The Jezabels are my favourite Australian band at the moment, and while their studio music is nothing short of stunning, like all great artists the band really shine when playing live. Up until now I had only ever seen them play with a full compliment of instruments and electronics, however the band recently sat down with the always excellent Off Guard Gigs to perform an acoustic version of their amazing song ‘Hurt Me’.
