Acoustic The Jezabels Is Pretty Much Amazing

The Jezabels are my favourite Australian band at the moment, and while their studio music is nothing short of stunning, like all great artists the band really shine when playing live. Up until now I had only ever seen them play with a full compliment of instruments and electronics, however the band recently sat down with the always excellent Off Guard Gigs (who also recently shot a great clip with Cloud Control) to perform an acoustic version of their amazing song Hurt Me. 

It’s just a fantastic rendition of the track. I love the addition of the bongos, and the harmonising vocals are quite simply superb towards the end. I’ve ripped the audio of the performance because I’m a pretty cool guy like that, and you can download it here (right click, ‘Save As’), but as always support everyone involved by checking out Off Guard Gigs and The Jezabels respectively, because they both do rather excellent work.
