The XX Australian Tour

Following the announcement that their hotly anticipated second album will be entitled ‘Coexist’, The XX will return to Australia this July for two intimate shows in Melbourne and Sydney. I caught the band last time they were here, and while they were only ‘good’ at Laneway I imagine that they are much better suited to headline indoor shows as opposed to festivals, so this really is a tour not to be missed.

Tigertown ‘Lions And Witches’

Tigertown are a brand new discovery of mine, but I’m already really enjoying the Sydney six-piece band’s music, especially their latest single ‘Lions And Witches’, which is taken off their upcoming second EP. Their debut EP, released last year, was extremely well-received, and it seems that the band are onto a winning formula with their melodic, lush pop music. ‘Lions And Witches’ recently got the video clip treatment, and you can find that video below along with all the good stuff.
