Gung Ho ‘Strangers’

Brisbane’s Gung Ho are ohsohot right now, and seem to be gaining more and more momentum with every release. I even remember hearing their song Side By Side used in the coverage of the Champions League final earlier this year, which was a very surreal experience. They’ve released a new single, Strangers, which provides a taste of their forthcoming debut EP, which is due out sometime next year. It’s more easy going surf-pop music with an endearing DIY vibe, and to be honest it’s hard to imagine Gung Ho writing a bad song at the moment. Grab it from Bandcamp.
