Kasabian Melbourne Show And Tickets Giveaway

The Debit MasterCard Priceless Music series is bringing UK rockers Kasabian back to Australia for a special one-off show at the Peninsula in Melbourne’s Docklands.

The band last toured our shores for the 2010 Big Day Out festival, and I was lucky enough to see their set at the Melbourne version of the festival. They were fantastic, with Fire in particular sending the crowd into something of a frenzy as it proved itself a true festival anthem. Since then, Kasabian have begun work on their upcoming album ‘Velociraptor!’, which is due for release on the 16th of September. We’ve already heard two songs from the record, the intense Switchblade Smiles and the album’s first single, Days Are Forgotten, which is more in line with the psychedelic leanings of the band’s latest album ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’.

Kasabian are quite simply massive at the moment, and this show provides a unique opportunity to see the band in their prime with the magnificent backdrop of the Docklands, at their only Australian show.

And Pluck Your Strings has one double ticket to the show to give away, thanks to Debit MasterCard. To enter simply leave a comment on this page answering the following question: “What is Kasabian’s second album called?”. Entries close 9am on the 25th of August AEST.

Tickets to the exclusive gig go on sale on the 25th of August at 9:00am AEST. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.mastercard.com.au/music with a Debit MasterCard only, are priced at $41.25 each, and are limited to four per person. To get hold of a Debit MasterCard contact the Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, Bankwest or the Bendigo Bank and apply for access to future Priceless Music experiences.
