Faces ‘Ooh La La’

I feel that lately I’ve been getting a big bogged down with music, only listening to stuff that I’ve either been sent or that has just been released. It certainly doesn’t hurt to revisit old classics every now and then though, so in that spirit here’s the song Ooh La La by English band Faces, released in 1973. Like a lot of people I’m sure I recognise the track from the iconic closing scene of ‘Rushmore’, but even aside from that it’s just a phenomenal song, effortlessly breezy and joyous at the same time as it’s somehow very nostalgic and regretful.
