The Good China ‘We Knew That We Had To Leave’
elbourne band The Good China are seemingly incapable of writing a bad song, and this is only further illustrated by their new single We Knew That We Had To Leave, which is the first taste of an upcoming new EP. It’s got the band’s trademark harmonies and joyously busy choruses, mixed with a charming self-awareness and tongue-in-cheek lyrics including the refrain of “I’m so fucking indie I don’t even listen to music”.

The album in question will be called ‘Lonesome Dreams’, and is the followup to several EPs that the band have put out, including the truly excellent ‘Mighty EP’.
