Brisbane four-piece Montpelier play grand, powerful, poetic indie pop music. The guys have been everywhere lately, enjoying airplay on Triple J as well as supporting the likes of Frightened Rabbit. And they deserve nothing less: this is delicate, layered, complex music that is very reminiscent of UK’s Elbow, and I can pay it no higher compliment than that.

Big Scary Interview
