Brisbane band Millions have been announced as the Triple J Unearthed Splendour In The Grass winner, which means that they will be opening the main stage of the festival in a month’s time, just like Jinja Safari did last year.
They play right garage rock with plenty of swagger and heaps of hooks. Check out single Those Girls from Millions’ upcoming debut EP, which is due out late this year.
The band have just wrapped up their first East Coast tour, and have also supported the likes of The Grates and Bleeding Knees Club. They sound like they would have a great vibe live, and I can’t wait to see these guys at Woodfordia.
