Here it is. I’m surprised after the disaster of last year that the festival is back at all, yet alone that it has a lineup this good.

For me, this is far superior to the Falls lineup this year. Mystery Jets, Shout Out Louds, Lightspeed Champion, Built To Spill, and Born Ruffians: there’s some real depth to the international acts here. Plus there are some big Australian names, most notably Temper Trap, Jebediah (hell yeah), John Steel Singers, Philly Jays, Hungry Kids Of Hungary, Liam Finn, and Little Red.
So now I’m really torn as to how I’ll be spending my new year’s. Tassie Falls (for the atmoshpere and location), Lorne Falls (for the convenience), Pyramid (for the lineup), and no festival at all (for the money) are all possibilities. I am conflicted, and I never thought that Pyramid would even be on my radar, until I saw this lineup.
I’m glad to see Future of the Left back in the country. Those guys are awesome.
However, no festival in Australia can hope to outdo Golden Plains! A bit far away (date wise), but it is awesome.
