Western Australian duo Antonio Paul market themselves as an act capable of providing the perfect soundtrack for a roadtrip, and so far their music has been delivering exactly that. Their first EP, ‘Treasures’ provided a taste of raw, youthful talent, and their latest release, ‘End Of The World’, builds on this significantly without losing any of the energy and excitement. The guys have recently released the second single from ‘End Of The World’, and it’s called ’Into The Night’.

Splendour In The Grass 2012 Lineup
Splendour In The Grass is moving back to Byron Bay following a temporary stay at Woodfordia, and there can be no doubt that with the move to a smaller venue there has come a slightly ‘smaller’ lineup, meaning in this case a more pronounced focus on Australia acts and no mammoth names like Coldplay and Kanye (although personally I think the latter is a good thing). Thankfully however there is still a ton of quality to be found here, most notably in headline acts that don’t tour Australia every other year, as well as a pretty impeccable selection of the ‘it’ bands in Australia right now.

Sean Bones ‘Here Now’
Sam Champion guitarist Sean Sullivan’s first foray into solo music under the moniker ‘Sean Bones’ came in 2009 with his album ‘RINGS’, and now the Brooklyn-based musician is ready to release his second album under that name, ‘Buzzards Boy’. Emilie Simon ‘Mon Chevalier’
French musician Emilie Simon has just released a new video for her song ‘Mon Chevalier’, taken from her upcoming fifth studio album ‘Franky Knight’, which also doubles as the soundtrack to the movie ‘Delicacy’. Given that she also wrote the critically acclaimed music used in the ‘March Of The Penguins’ film-come-documentary, it’s probably worth paying attention to this. Here’s the video in question.
