The enigmatic, eccentric, at time slightly mad, always entertaining, and very charismatic Patrick Wolf has announced an “intimate acoustic tour” of Australia this September. I’m not to sure about the ‘intimate’ part however, because I’m pretty sure all of these venues are bigger than that which I saw him play last time he toured here. Oh well.

The Temper Trap ‘Trembling Hands’

Aussie expats The Temper Trap have released the second song from their upcoming self-titled album, which is out June 5th. The song is called ‘Trembling Hands’, and it’s a monster of a single, seemingly designed for the sole purpose of being played in huge stadiums which, if The Temper Trap’s current level of success is any indicator, it may well be eventually.

The hype levels surrounding her single ‘Youth’ has reached a fever pitch, due in no small part to its inclusion on quite a few television shows as well as a constant stream of blog posts.

Of Monsters And Men ‘Little Talks’

f Iceland is anything like how I imagine it in my head then it is the coolest place in the world. Because as far as I can tell it’s some kind of magical land and musical haven with a disproportionate amount of amazing bands and some pretty sweet scenery as well. The latest band to reinforce this belief is Of Monsters And Men, an Icelandic sextet who released their debut album, ‘My Head Is An Animal’, earlier this year. Since getting my hands on it I have become absolutely obsessed with one song in particular, ’Little Talks’.
