Foxes ‘Let Go For Tonight’

I called it ages ago: Foxes, also known as British musician Louisa Rose Allen, is going to reach Foster The People level of mainstream success, and it appears that she is already well on her way. The hype levels surrounding her single ‘Youth’ has reached a fever pitch, due in no small part to its inclusion on quite a few television shows as well as a constant stream of blog posts.

Of Monsters And Men ‘Little Talks’

f Iceland is anything like how I imagine it in my head then it is the coolest place in the world. The Tallest Man On Earth may not have exactly reinvented music, but he certainly has demonstrated a special form of escapism through music that many other acts have tried, and, for the most part failed, to capture.

The Walkmen ‘We Can’t Be Beat’

The Walkmen are a seriously busy band, seemingly constantly either touring or recording new material, and sometimes doing both. In keeping with this image the band have been releasing a constant stream of material from their upcoming album ‘Heaven’, which is out on the 29th of this month. The latest of these songs is called ’We Can’t Be Beat’, and it displays a bit of a different side to the outfit, featuring Robin Pecknold on backing vocals and much softer instrumentation than we’re used to hearing from the American band. It’s rather beautiful.

Emma Louise ‘Boy’

It’s been an incredible twelve months for Brisbane musician Emma Louise. She’s signed international record deals, toured around the country, and received a hell of a lot of attention for her single ‘Jungle’. Emma is now returning to home soil with a series of intimate shows to accompany the release of her new single ‘Boy’, which appears to hint at an upcoming debut album that is already highly anticipated. Check out the single as well as the tour details below.
