The Walkmen are a seriously busy band, seemingly constantly either touring or recording new material, and sometimes doing both. In keeping with this image the band have been releasing a constant stream of material from their upcoming album ‘Heaven’, which is out on the 29th of this month. The latest of these songs is called We Can’t Be Beat, and it displays a bit of a different side to the outfit, featuring Robin Pecknold on backing vocals and much softer instrumentation than we’re used to hearing from the American band. It’s rather beautiful.
