Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros have premiered the studio version of their new single, Man On Fire, which they first played live at SXSW. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming second studio album, the unoriginally-titled and horribly-front-covered ‘Here’. All that really matters is the tuneski though, so check it out.
At the risk of stating the obvious, it’s very, very Edward Sharpe. It may not quite be as catchy and happy and oh-life-is-incredible as Home, but it’s safe to say that you can still expect to be hearing it a hell of a lot over the coming months on radio, television, and pretty much every other medium capable of producing sound. That’s just a testament to the accessibility and charm of the band’s music though, and I really am looking forward to this release. ‘Here’ drops May 29th.
