The Belligerents ‘Steal Money’

Earlier in the year I posted about The Belligerents’ debut EP ‘Less Arty, More Party’, noting that it was not only wonderfully titled but also a really fun, energetic, and upbeat record. Well the Brisbane band have just released their next single following said EP, a collaboration with dance outfit Mitzi entitled Steal Money. Lend it your ears.

While it doesn’t quite have the same frantic energy that a lot of their debut EP did, it’s still a great upbeat indie pop number. The band have announced a few shows in Brisbane with a virtual who’s-who of the Brisbane music scene, including YesYou, Founds, and Gung Ho, but those of us in Melbourne may have to wait a little longer to see the band live.
