Yet another great band out of Brisbane, 12 piece garage pop act Velociraptor are heading to Melbourne soon as part of their only tour of the year. First though, have a listen to latest single In The Springtime, which has been getting a lot of love from pretty much everyone lately, and for a very good reason.
The most remarkable thing about Velociraptor’s music is that, despite a virtual orchestra of guitars and vocals, they manage to sound completely coherent and in control of their music. Sure there’s chaos to be found here but there’s also a great garage rock vibe, tons of pop hooks, and crazy amounts of energy, which the band apparently really lets loose during their live show.
