[Day 8: A Song That You Know All The Words To]
Smash Mouth – All Star
Like most people reading this I could put any number of songs here. I’ve always had a bit of an uncanny knack for being able to remember song lyrics, and I often find myself singing along at gigs to songs I’ve only heard a handful of times.
But putting some hipster track here would be boring, so instead how about Smash Mouth’s All Star, an undeniably awesome track that is the first song I remember knowing all the words to.
I first discovered it from ‘Shrek’, and thought it was kind of the best thing ever. I proceeded to buy it on CD because that was how I rolled in 2001, and listened to it non-stop for the better part of a year.
When ‘researching’ for this challenge I thought of this song and listened to it for the first time in a good few years. Unsurprisingly, I still remember every single word.
And Pluck Your Strings 
Hahahahahahahahahaha this is hilarious. More so because I did EXACTLY the same thing!
