Just a quick shout-out, if you’re around Melbourne then don’t miss the double-headline gig of Pluck favourites Leader Cheetah and Cloud Control.
On the back of their strong debut album ‘The Sunspot Letters’ Leader Cheetah have been touring extensively, including playing a massive free Myspace show with mates the Middle East. Meanwhile Cloud Control, although yet to release a full length album, have been putting out some quality EPs and winning over audiences Australia-wide with headline shows and opening for acts such as Josh Pyke.
They form a tantalising double-headline act, and their respective sounds should compliment one another nicely throughout the night. Add openers Last Dinosaurs to the bill, and you’ve got one great looking gig.
Tickets are $16, and the gig is at the East Brunswick Club, this Friday (November 27th). If you can’t make it then be sure to check back here for a comprehensive review.
If you’re anywhere else around Australia then check out the tour poster at the front of this post, they might just be dropping by somewhere near you.
Edit: It was a great night, see the review here.
