Last night Okkervil River played one of the most powerful, intense, and captivating gigs I have ever witnessed to an enthralled sold-out crowd at Melbourne’s idyllic Forum venue. Quite simply, it’s hard to imagine a show much better.

Okkervil River Are Coming To Melbourne

Last night the Melbourne Festival unveiled its music lineup, and it has to be said that it’s quite impressive, featuring the likes of MONO, Aesop Rock, Black Dice, and Rat Vs Possum. By far of greatest interest however is that the lineup also includes none other than Okkervil River, one of my favourite bands.
