Some UK Band Announce Small Australian Tour

For once the crazy rumours were right: Radiohead are touring Australia this year. That’s really all there is to say I suppose, especially because this news is already everywhere. Of interest however is that fact that apparently no new shows will be added to the dates already announced, so it seems like if you miss out, tough.

Lana Del Rey Australian Tour

The most divisive figure to ever play gentle retro indie pop music, Lana Del Rey, has announced an Australian tour (or at least two dates, anyway), which was fairly predictable given her insane popularity over here at the moment. This is not a tour to be missed, and it looks like I may just have to break my ‘no festival hall gigs’ policy. Tickets are on sale December 6th.

Big Day Out Sideshows

While I wasn’t personally a big fan of the Big Day Out lineup this year, and can’t really see myself braving that crowd again, there are definitely a few bands I would quite like to see at headline shows. With that in mind, here’s a bunch of Big Day Out sideshows that were just announced for Melbourne.
