Sons Et Al. ‘See Me Run’

Well the whole one-post-a-day thing lasted about a day, but hey it’s quality over quantity, right? And I’ve got some real quality today, in the form of Melbourne five-piece Sons et al., who released their debut single See Me Run earlier this month. It’s a little bit dancey, a little bit summery, and very, very slick, with just enough slightly darker undertones to differentiate it from a lot of otherwise similar music. The juxtaposition between the deep, dominating vocals of the verses and the shimmering, laid back instrumentation is pretty spectacular. I really dig this. You can catch the guys launching the single at The Toff on the 27th of October, and give em some love on the ‘book.
