Oceanics ‘Jukebox’

Oceanics are a Gold Coast band who make happy indie pop music that’s irresistibly catchy and very, very fun. They make is seem so easy, as well. This year saw the release of their debut EP, ‘Bright People’, which is seemingly full of nothing but singles. Possibly the pick of the bunch is Jukebox, which perfectly demonstrates everything that’s good about this band. Sure there’s a lot of acts doing similar things at the moment, even just in Queensland, which seems to be something a hotbed for upbeat indie pop, but it’s hard not to fall for music this fun and this charming.
