Little Scout ‘Go Quietly’

Brisbane band Little Scout were responsible for one of my favourite albums of 2011, ‘Take Your Light’, and the band have returned with the first taste of what’s to come when they record their second album later this year. The song is called Go Quietly, and it was written with The John Steel Singers’ Scott Bromiley and mixed by Lars Stalfors, famous for his work with The Mars Volta. Like the best of Little Scout’s music it’s definitely a grower of a track, but given enough time and repeated listens it really draws you in, as well as demonstrating a bit of a different side to the band, with fuzzier and rawer production compared to the very slick ‘Take Your Light’.
