Colour Coding ‘Perfect’

Like a lot of people I’m suffering a bit from shimmery-indie-summer-electro-pop over-saturation as of late. It seems like half of the new Australian bands I hear about fit into this caricature, and even though they may be perfectly capable bands, there can certainly be too much of a good thing. But I guess that means that, when a new artist who plays that type of music stands out at me, they must be really, really good. Such is the case with Sydney duo Colour Coding, who have just released their first single, Perfect.

It’s a really smooth, melodious, and fun song.
