An expanded edition of The National’s masterpiece ‘High Violet’ is going to be released soon, and it is going to be absolutely spectacular. It features live versions of England, Bloodbuzz Ohio, and Bloodbuzz Ohio, as well as an alternative version of Terrible Love which is more in line with how the song was originally played live.

As if this wasn’t enough, the extra disc also features 4 unreleased tracks. One of these is Wake Up Your Saints, a song that was played extensively live during the leadup to ‘High Violet’, however was ultimately excluded from said album. Here it finally is in studio form, and it is nothing short of stunning.
