Vanderlyle Cry Baby, Cry

Come January, I’m finally going to be seeing my favourite band in the world live. In honour of the occasion, here is an absolutely sublime video of The National performing Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks a couple of days ago at a concert in Nashville. It is completely unplugged, without a single microphone. This is about as close to magic as music can get, and if they do anything like this at The Palais, I’ll be a very happy person indeed.
