Musical comedian Justin Heazlewood AKA The Bedroom Philosopher is hitting the road in the coming months in support of his third album, ‘Songs From The 86 Tram’. If you haven’t heard of The Bedroom Philosopher, he first caught my attention a while ago with the absolutely brilliant I’m So Postmodern.
“I’m so postmodern that I write reviews of funerals.”
‘Songs From The 86 Tram’ is just as tongue-in-cheek and just as enjoyable, featuring the hit single Northcote (So Hungover) which has received a lot of radio airplay.
Adding to the attractiveness of the tour is the support act, the wonderful The Boat People, touring in support of their third album as well, and with a great backcatalogue of songs behind them.
The tour kicks off early August, and full dates and details are after the jump. Personally I’m looking forward to catching the show at the Northcote Social Club, undeniably a suitable venue.
