Glass Towers are a really cool Byron Bay band currently competing as one of the finalists in the Triple J Unearthed High School competition. However both their songwriting and their musical experience are far beyond that of your typical high school band.
They have played alongside the likes of Tame Impala and Hungry Kids Of Hungary, but even more impressively they opened the main stage of Splendour In The Grass last year- no small feat for such a new band.
There’s a good reason for this success. Glass Towers play a really infectious blend of indie pop mixed with some killer drum beats and suitably crystallised guitar riffs. All these elements combine perfectly for the song Castles, which I’m absolutely loving at the moment.
Check it out below, and download it from their Unearthed page.
