Swedish outfit The Royal Concept have just released their self-titled EP, featuring a blistering five tracks of upbeat sunny indie pop that sound an awful lot like Phoenix. Sure there are a lot of bands out there doing similar things, but The Royal Concept do it with such ease and skill that it’s hard not to fall for the hooks.

The guys have just released their debut EP, ‘Burial’, and it’s full of eerie and captivating music, which is most evident on the opening track Ghost In Your Bedroom, a slow-paced and very restrained number that is a bit reminiscent of the better moments of The Boxer Rebellion’s music.
