Animal Collective dropped two new songs out of nowhere today, taken from a new 7″ that will be released June 26th. For the time being however you can listen to both tracks over at their website or stream them below.

    Honeycomb is classic Animal Collective listening: challenging, but ultimately rewarding. Took me a couple listens to fully appreciate its sound and infectiousness. I’ve come to love the opening most of all, with the nicely timed pauses between the bounce effect.
